WELCOME TO MY 6th DAY OF
MY RETURN VISIT TO LA
Welcome to my 6th day of my return visit to Los Angeles. Today I met 3 of my old friends in Downtown L.A. There can be nothing more special than being with people who had been so good to me when I lived in L.A. for 21 years between 1989-2010. So much to discuss, so many memories to re-live. Of course the 81 degree temperature was an absolute delight, especially as I had left England and November is so very cold and rainy it seems to fall constantly.
Then of course the most exciting element of my three week visit is of course going into the recording studio on “Hollywood Way” in Burbank to capture my twelve chosen songs for my second CD. It is something that I never thought I would have accomplished in my wildest dreams.
So once again my now close friend Mr David Siebels, an extraordinary musician assisting me in the lifelong dream. Today is the 7th Nov and once more I am in the privileged position of being on the inside of a part of “Los Angeles Society” that only 3% of the public ever get to see or hear about. I cannot divulge what it is, but suffice for say it is extremely disturbing. However to witness such proceedings forces me to quote “But for the grace of God go I”.
